Green Machine 3rd at Cannon Falls
The Green Machine Youth Wrestling team placed 3rd at the Cannon Falls Team Tournament this past Sunday with a 3-2 record despite forfeiting two weights each dual. The two losses were in a heartbreaking 40-37 dual to eventual-champion Northfield and a 39-39 tie to Bloomington but lost on the 8th tiebreaker criteria. The three wins came over Cannon Falls (61-24), Triton (62-18), and Richfield (55-36). Nathan Pientka, Riley Reistad, Josh Outhoudt, and Owen Farmer were all 5-0. David Tonjum and Cal Schultz were also undefeated at heavyweight. Tar Tut and Ethan Erickson had four wins each, while Andrew Flicek, Brady Racine, and Aiden Tobin each had three wins on the day.
