7 place at State!
With a record 11 wrestlers advancing to NYWA State, the Green Machine came back with a club record 7 place-winners! Dillon Schrot advanced to the title match with three wins, and came away with second place. Meanwhile, five others placed fifth (Hunter Nelson, Dylan Lippert, Charlie Chambers, David Tonjum, Levi Kuschel) and Ryan Mullennex placed sixth on Friday evening in the 7/8th Grade State Tournament. Other wrestlers advancing to State were Jathyn Hausen, Aiden Tobin, Brandon Knott, and Cy Kuschel. The Green Machine also had three wrestlers (Landon Hatfield, Riley Stoltz, and Tar Tut) participating in the Invite Tournament also held in Rochester.
