Members of the University of Minnesota and Augsburg Wrestling Teams will be conducting “Freestyle and Greco Open Mat” to all Faribault K-12 wrestlers interested (cost is free). Great opportunity to learn about the Freestyle and Greco style of wrestling by some of the best college wrestlers in the country.

Andy Ness advanced to the Section 1AA finals with a fall over #1 seed Aaron Berge in the semifinals, and eventually took 2nd Place after a 5-4 loss in the finals. Ness will wrestle at the State Tournament this Friday, February 28. Ryan Mullennex placed 3rd and lost his True Second Match. Tony Avila placed 5th, while Trevor Morris and Isaac VanThomme placed 6th!

The Falcons fell to Owatonna this past Thursday, February 6, at Nomeland Gymnasium. The following seniors were honored: Blake O’Neil, Josh Amacher, Andy Ness, Trevor Morris, and Nick Aldrich.

The 20th annual Faribault Wrestling Golf Classic was held Friday, July 26, at the Legacy Golf Course. Great time had by all. Thanks again for your support of Faribault Wrestling!
