Austin Rendler wins State title; McEachran and Van Ryn earn All-State!!!
The trio of Falcon seniors all finished on the podium at 2018 Minnesota High School State Tournament. The title by Austin Rendler at 220 lbs was the first state championship by a Falcon since Brady Wilson in 2005. In the semifinals, Rendler avenged his loss in the state finals last year. Dillon McEachran and Cain Van Ryn also both finished higher than their seed and avenged earlier season losses. McEachran finished 3rd with a win over Lakeville North’s Bryce Benhart, while Van Ryn battled his way back through the consolation to finish in 6th Place! Great season boys!!!
