The Falcons hosted Mankato East and WEM/JWP on Thursday (1/14) and came away with two convincing wins. Falcons opened with a 57-17 win over conference foe Mankato East, and then ended the night with a near-identical 56-16 rout of WEM/JWP.

We will be holding our annual student-athlete/parent meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 17th. This is a very important meeting for both the student-athlete as well as the parents. It is expected that at least one parent is represented at the meeting.

Faribault Wrestling with help from LaCanne’s Marine completed the successful raffle of the Polaris Sportsman Ace ATV (retail price $7,499). The drawing was held at Bashers on Saturday, August 29. All proceeds will benefit Faribault Wrestling grades K – 12 including a wrestling camp scholarship fund. Thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraiser a huge success! The Eden Prairie wrestling program is inviting Grade 7-12 wrestlers to their “National Champions” Combine on the weekend of Oct 10-11. The two-day camp will feature coaches from national champions Iowa Central, Augsburg, and St. Cloud State. It also features clinicians Jordan Holm (member of Greco-Roman World Team), Billy Pierce (3-time NCAA Division 1 All-American), Marcus LeVesseur (4-time NCAA Division 3 national champion and 4-time MN State Champion), and Ridgewater Community College Coach Tom Gruhlke. Once again, the Faribault coaches will be offering 3-hour sessions throughout the summer to improve conditioning and technique. Remember, champions are built in the offseason! The sessions are available K-12 at only $5/session at the high school with pricebreaks as you attend more sessions. Monday and Wednesday will be in the morning (8:30 – 11:30) while Tuesday and Thursday will be in the evening (5:30 – 8:30). Camp flyer is linked here, and we hope to see you this summer on the mat!

Attention all Faribault wrestlers (all ages):
We will once again be offering the spring wrestling season focusing on greco and freestyle. The sessions will begin this coming Monday 3/30 and occur every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30 at the high school. If college clinicians will be coming, it will be posted here prior to the date. UPDATE: due to car trouble, Seth Lange will now be coming on Wednesday, April 1.
