A club-record 20 youth wrestlers will qualified for the MNUSA State Tournament (takes place at Rochester Community College this weekend March 11-13). The Green Machine participated in tournaments at Waseca and Owatonna over the February 20-21 weekend. The champions were: Blake Judd, Mason Kanzenbach, Elliott Viland, Mac Louis, Bo Bokman, Trevor Holmberg, and Logan Vargo (pictured at bottom).

Every year the Byron Challenge brings in 16 youth teams and placing at the tournament is, well, challenging. And now enter in some new teams like Owatonna and it is becoming even more challenging. The Green Machine were up to the challenge by placing four individuals with many others coming up short. Logan Vargo took 2nd at 45 lbs, Bo Bokman placed 3rd at 60, Elliott Viland placed 4th at 65, and JT Hausen went up a weight class and still finished 5th at 75 lbs.
