Green Machine advances to State!

Oathoudt, Viland place at Byron

The Green Machine Youth Wrestling competed in the annual Byron Individual Team Tournament.  The great showing by the Green Machine in the toughest tournament in the state was highlighted by two place-winners, Josh Oathoudt and Elliot Viland.  Oathoudt finished with a fourth-place finish, and Viland took home sixth place!

Green Machine 2nd at Lakeville!

The Green Machine wrestled in three individual tournaments at JWP, Kenyon, and TCU-Montgomery.  They brought home 32 champions and 15 second-place finishes.  In addition, they took home the 1st place team trophy at the TCU-Montgomery tournament due to all the individual wins.  Pictured in the front row from left: Landon Hatfield, Chase Vargo, Logan Vargo, Jayden Jirele, Brody Hatfield, Jacob Nielson, and Brody Redding. Green Machine 1st at Northfield!!!

Green Machine 2nd at Medford

The Green Machine took home the runner-up trophy at the Medford Team Tournament on January 12 with a 2-1 record.  The Green Machine started out the tourney with a 68-54 loss to LeCenter, but then finished with wins over Medford (84-30) and Owatonna (87-22).  Bo Bokman, Elliot Viland, David Tonjum and Cole Redding each finished with 3-0 records and all by fall.  Also finishing the day 3-0 were Timmy Leider, Sam Lacanne, and Charlie Chambers.  Owen Farmer and Brody Redding were both 2-0.  Jaythn Hausen, Hunter Conrad, Nathan Pientka, Riley Stoltz, and Dylan Lippert all finished with a 2-1 record.
