The Green Machine wrestlers went to tournaments in Burnsville on December 5 and New Prague MNUSA Qualifier on December 6. The following Green Machine (K-5) wrestlers took home first place in their brackets at the Faribault tournament on Sunday, November 29. The City In-House season came to an end on Saturday, November 14 with the City Championships. The day (and entire season) was extremely fun and we hope you enjoyed it as well. Attention Middle School (6-8) and High School (9-12) wrestlers…
The start of the 2015-16 wrestling season begins Monday, November 16! Please make sure you register this week on FeePay. Please visit the www.faribault.k12.mn.us and click on the FeePay tab on the bottom right of the page. Or just click here to access FeePay. You will also need to have a current physical on file with the Activities Office prior to the first practice.
We will be holding our annual student-athlete/parent meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 17th. This is a very important meeting for both the student-athlete as well as the parents. It is expected that at least one parent is represented at the meeting.

Your child interested in wrestling? Try this one-month program to check it out! These K-5th Grade practices are Tuesday and Thursday following school and dual meets on Friday evenings. There is also an In-house tournament at the end of the season. Cost is only $10 for the entire month and includes a t-shirt and trophy! That’s 8 practices, 3 meets and a tournament for $10. Faribault Wrestling with help from LaCanne’s Marine completed the successful raffle of the Polaris Sportsman Ace ATV (retail price $7,499). The drawing was held at Bashers on Saturday, August 29. All proceeds will benefit Faribault Wrestling grades K – 12 including a wrestling camp scholarship fund. Thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraiser a huge success! Attention Grades 7-12 wrestlers,
The Eden Prairie wrestling program is inviting Grade 7-12 wrestlers to their “National Champions” Combine on the weekend of Oct 10-11. The two-day camp will feature coaches from national champions Iowa Central, Augsburg, and St. Cloud State. It also features clinicians Jordan Holm (member of Greco-Roman World Team), Billy Pierce (3-time NCAA Division 1 All-American), Marcus LeVesseur (4-time NCAA Division 3 national champion and 4-time MN State Champion), and Ridgewater Community College Coach Tom Gruhlke.
