The Faribault Green Machine wrestling team had five kids wrestle in the Mn/USA State Wrestling Tournament over the March 9-10, 2012. Taking third was Dillon McEachran for the second consecutive year! Other wrestlers competing in the state tournament were Cole Redding, Brady Racine, Brody Redding, and Jathyn Hausen.

The Green Machine competed at the NYWA Region 1 Team Duals with an opening loss to Goodhue before knocking out PEM and ending with a hard-fought loss to Austin. Brandon Peters will participate in his second trip to the Minnesota State Wrestling tournamnet in St Paul this weekend. Wrestling begins at 9:00 am Friday morning.

This years 2012 Section 1AAA individual section tourney starts today.
With two wrestlers seeded in the top 3 and 9 seeded in the top 5, Faribault heads into Rochester this afternoon.
Doors open at 11 a.m. on Friday and the first round kicks off at noon. The championship quarterfinals are scheduled for 2 p.m. and the first and second round wrestlebacks begin at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, the championship semifinals are at 11 a.m. and the third-place and championship matches start at 5 p.m.
